As of 5 October 2009 Police Officer recruitment for Tayside Police will be dealt with at the Scottish Police College, however Police Staff and Special Constable recruitment will continue to be carried out within the Force. Guaranteed Job Interview Scheme Tayside Police has a Guaranteed Job Interview Scheme (GJIS) to help ensure equality of opportunity in employment and to meet the requirements of the first commitment of Disability symbol users. The GJIS which applies to all posts, guarantees an interview to any applicant with a disability who meets the essential selection criteria for a job.
